Military Presentation at Queen Elizabeth II Arrival Ceremony

This photograph of troops standing at attention during the Arrival Ceremony held in honor of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain was taken by Joseph H. Bailey on May 14, 1991. President George H. W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush welcomed The Queen and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh at the ceremony held on the South Lawn of the White House Grounds and later honored her visit with a State Dinner in the evening. Queen Elizabeth's visit was the start of a 13 day tour of the United States. President Bush and Queen Elizabeth are among the group gathered to the right of the standing troops.
